Juvenile Law

Juvenile law is a broad area of law covering a gambit of legal issues affecting juveniles and their families. Many people find themselves in juvenile court without understanding the multiple ways juvenile court differs from district court. Even many attorneys who work in the area of family law, but only in District Court become lost in the way juvenile court differs. An attorney must possess knowledge of the evidentiary and procedural differences between juvenile court and district court to successfully navigate the system.

If your child has been charged with a criminal offense, (Delinquency) or you find yourself in a juvenile proceeding such as: Child In Need of Assistance (CINA), Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) against you, Theresa can provide that guidance.
